Ferrari Is Building Another LaFerrari To Help Italy Quake Victims
Maranello is increasing the LaFerrari's production run from 499 to 500, building one last car to be auctioned off for the benefit of those caught up in central Italy's devastating August earthquake
Just over a week ago, a devastating 6.2 magnitude earthquake hit central Italy, killing almost 300 and leaving nearly 3000 without homes. Wanting to contribute to the disaster relief, Ferrari has decided to up the LaFerrari’s production run from 499 to 500, auctioning off number 500 and giving the proceeds to earthquake victims.
Ferrari does have previous in this area - a few years ago it increased the Enzo’s 399 production run to 400, donating the final car to the Vatican. It was subsequently auctioned off for the benefit of victims of the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami, and sold once again in 2015 for over $6 million.
Ferrari hasn’t yet announced when the car will go under the hammer.

So does this mean that Ferrari will lift the ownership restrictions?
If so that means anyone can buy it. So no restrictions on the last LaFerrari ever built. Yeah that is going for big bucks. I would say over 5M.
well considering they have already made more than the stated 499 its not that much of a deal in terms of numbers.
I feel like ferrari has always had that extra one in the back just because that’s what they do and then sell it off when ever there’s a disaster (ie the tsunami with the enzo)
