The Fast And Furious Universal Ride Will Let You Experience The Films For Real
If the Fast and Furious films don’t adequately quench your thirst for unrealistic car action, worry not: there’s an F&F ride in the works. Due to open in 2015, Fast and Furious ‘Supercharged’ is being built as part of a $1.6m investment plan at Universal Studios Hollywood, and will utilise the park’s famous back-lot trams. According to an excitable statement from Universal, the ride will “tell an original Fast & Furious story, incorporating hyper-realistic special effects and state-of-the-art 3D-HD imagery projected onto the world’s longest and most expansive 360-degree screen spanning nearly 400 feet in length.”
We recently found out that the next instalment in the Fast and Furious franchise will have Paul Walker’s un-filmed scenes replaced with the use of body doubles and CGI, as the star was tragically killed in a car accident late last year.
