Aside from a pair of huge balls, You’ll also be lightning fast if you also have your testicle BURNing.
Him and Colin McRae are racing the WRC Feel Stage.
Still not as good a rally driver as Melons 😂
I mean, thanks for the kind words, but it was a different time then.
I am looking at the on boards and wondering “how, then, is this at all logical? The way he turns, holds the wheel… It’s all fundamentally different from the rally drivers of today.”
The progression of motorsports is rapid, now, because computers are enabling us to do more… To learn more… The computer in my basement is more capable than Richard’s entire team’s computers.
I don’t want to be compared to a great from this era of rallying, the differences in driving style and approach are too large to find a solid comparison.
I’d likely be faster in the new school of thought within rally. He’d likely still be faster if I were on the older generation of tires and so forth.
To compare any modern rally driver to any pre-2008 rally driver is pretty wrong. Loëb revolutionized rally. Everything is different now.
video 4 at 40 seconds, thank me later! ahahah
hahahaha what a boss

A great post!
Richard Burns rally, still harder than DuRP rally. Why name it DiRT when you can keep Colin McRae Rally? Rochanrd and McRae are THE best drivers WRC has ever seen.
there were some better drivers than them take Henri Toivonen for example. colin took inspiration from henri.
I don’t mean to tread on their names, as I deeply respect both of them, but I can name plenty of WRC drivers who are better than these two. Makinen and Kankkunen for starters.
Richard Burns, Richard Burns, flicking all the way!
I still remember an interview with him at a rally stage where he had been off the pace. He was asked what was wrong. He said something like (i’m paraphrasing)
“I don’t know, i just can’t seem to concentrate, it’s confusing”
2 weeks later i heard he had a brain tumour, and had clearly been exhibiting symptoms in that interview. Tragic, and a huge loss.

I have that game!
Still the best!
Probably off sets the weight reduction
