What is the trunk/hood of a rear engine car called. I call it the boot/trunk and my friend calls it the hood still.

If it covers the engine than it’s the hood in my mind. But I guess everyone calls it different.

i call that the boot, but i also call the front the boot

On a rear engine car I would call it hood and the one in front is the frunk
