Big wheels, small tires.
What’s with this? Almost every new car I see, and old cars that have been modified, have massive wheels, teeny, tiny, little rubber band tires and huge “rims” or wheels.
Or these stupidly thin tires
What happened to the good ole days, sure I wasn’t even born but, hey, a kid can dream can’t he?
I understand that less sidewall flex helps with handleing and that its instyle right now to have massive shiny wheels, and that custom cars often go for pure wow power and don’t really care about the comfort and drivability bigger side wall can give for daily driving, but these older cars, like the 2002 and the 70 challenger look great, even without tiny rubber band tires.
What do you think about them? I personally like bigger tires with more side wall (if you can’t tell) but am open to other opinions.
P.S. How crap was this post? Any suggestions?

The white mustang and blue chevelle are indeed to much but the 2002 looks to cheap so for me it’s more a golden middle but still depending on the car itself
I agree. I prefer tires to be bigger than that.
