BMW emblem clean-up / paint removal
Hey guys, today i bought my very first own car!
It is a BMW E46 320i ~ pic’s coming soon ;)
So the problem is that the 1st owner painted the original BMW emblem in an ugly black thats already flaking.
I’d like to clean the emblem so i get the original one back.
So my question: Does anyone know how to clean it and remove the paint?

You could use some paint thinner to take off the black paint, but it might also take off the BMW logo paint. The easiest way to do it cleanly would be to replace the roundel, but if it can be salvaged, it’s worth a try. They’re not cheap new.
Soak it in brake cleaner… brake cleaner is almost wd40to me
