Ontario's Offroad Playground
Ardbeg, Ontario. Just north of parry sound, you are well on your way to the middle of nowhere Canada. It is a little known playground for off-road enthusiasts. There is a hydro line leading from somewhere important to the big cities of southern Ontario. This leaves us with a clear cut slab of Canadian shield crown land to stretch our legs.
May not compare to Utah and California, but up here in Canada its one of the best places to explore. Reaching pristine clear lakes that only other jeeps can get to. There is very little evidence human interaction and obstacles for every size of rig.
It beats the muddy swampy trails that Ontario is known for, but there are still places you can find to get mighty stuck
Butttt, that’s what buds are for
Anyways, its my favorite place to wheel and I suggest every Ontario off roader makes it up there. Here are some more pictures by my friend Mike Marshal, he is a great photographer (orange jeep is his)
