VW Golf 2.0 wont rev past 4000 rpms!

So I was having some misfiring issues, like loss of power and jerking. Then i recently replaced fuel injectors and mass airflow sensor. Car started idling and driving beautiful. Now it will cut out power and stall and wont rev past 4000 rpms. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

I know that faulty crankshaft position sensor, cam sensor and knock sensors can trigger this occurance. Any other possibilities that you may know of?

My camshaft positiom sensor did that same thing to me. Get in there and replace it. I did mine at the same time as i redid my timing belt and water pump. Its behind that cam gear, so getting to it is easiest if you do timing belt replacement. ECS tuning has an awesome timing belt kit, and VW Vortex has a great walkthrough.
