This is why we look both ways before crossing the street.

As an owner of a nearly identical Camry, I apologize for my brethren.

So… To catch a red light runner, the officer runs a red and gets hit by a car… who has the right of way…
Hmm
I get the officers intentions and all… But

As soon as his lights are on, its perfectly legal for the officer to go through that red. The way the officer slowly gets going is due to the fact that he is probably looking both ways to make sure nobody is coming. But that camry was going too fast to stop.

So, who was in the wrong? You can’t expect the Camry to know that was gonna happen after all. He did at least try to stop, then surrendered instantly

Given that the squad car wasn’t going that fast and wasn’t struck right away makes it seem like the Camry driver wasn’t paying any attention until it was too late

Personally I feel that no one in this video (except the red light runner) did anything wrong, the police had to catch up to the driver and the camery had right of way so may not have been able to stop in time
