Screw The Purists: This V10 Viper-Engined Dodge Charger Is Officially Awesome

The fact that this 1968 Charger is running a 520bhp, Viper-sourced V10 might aggravate a purist or two, but who cares when the results are so brilliant?

If you think Muscle Car Purists are bad, maybe you want to look at PORSCHE purists…Gosh, that lot are annoying…

Deleting the SRT-10 badges is the only thing I’d change.

Yeah, I would have gone for more of a sleeper type thing with it, where I’d leave it looking like a normal Charger, which would be scary enough, and basically as-is, identical to how this guy did it. (Green’s my favorite color, and I just LOVE the way it looks on here.)

But, I get the feeling that half of the reason that the guy did it was probably so that he could show off that “Look at me! I have a V10 Charger! I know I could have gotten more power from a Hellcat, and probably even some of the newer SRT V8’s, but IT’S GOT A V10! 10 IS BETTER THAN 8!”

I see no problem there it’s still a Dodge car with a Dodge engine

It’s still Mopar and if he went through the trouble of doing an engine swap and even brakes, you know that there’s a good chance that it’ll handle as well

Yes but it’s a Lamborghini engineered V10 in place of an American iconic V8.

That moment when you see your all time favourite car with the engine of your favourite supercar. Gotta love the blinker LED light detail in the mirrors
