Sick to death of all those Mustang crowd jokes? Don’t worry, as scores of performance car owners across the world are prepared to combat this vicious stereotype by showing they’re just as dangerously overconfident as the drivers in those viral pony car crashes.

An excellent example comes from a Reddit user who caught this third-generation Dodge Viper (the title refers to it as an ‘ACR’, but we don’t think it’s one of the ultra-rare ACR convertibles) spectacularly stacking it outside a cars and coffee meet in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Fortunately, he just misses the gathered pedestrians, sliding into some small trees shortly after. As you can see from the aftermath photos, the car’s in a bad way. The trees didn’t come off too well either…
