TOP 5 INITIAL D BATTLES [ 1 being the best and 5 being the worst ]

1. Ryosuke Takahashi vs Takumi Fujiwara
   FC vs 86

This is my favourite battle in Initial D because it is a showdown between the fastest on Akina and the fastest on Akagi in the last episode of the First Stage. It is the best of best clashing in an epic battle. My favourite part is when Takumi understeers and Ryosuke passes him and makes you wonder about the outcome.

1. Keisuke Takahashi vs Go Hojo
   FD VS NSX

Along with being a good battle to watch, this battle really shows how far Keisuke has come since his battle with Takumi in the First Stage. It shows how Keisuke can now keep calm instead of losing his cool.

1. Shingi Inui vs Takumi Fujiwara
   86 VS 86

I like this because it is an epic battle between an 86 and an 86, both being Truenos. It is a really good way to end Initial D as the star car of Initial D is Takumi’s 86. Like his battle against Ryosuke, this battle makes you wonder about the outcome- will Takumi lose to another Trueno 86?

1. Shingo Shoji vs Takumi Fujiwara
   EG6 vs 86

Coming in at number 4 is the battle between Shingo and Takumi, a battle I like because it shows the extent Shingo will go to to try and win a battle. Shingo realises that the 86 isnt just and old junkyard 86 and hits Takumi, making him spin. Shingo thinks he has made Takumi crash but then realises Takumi has spun the car well and is now facing the right direction. This shows us the dark side of Takumi as well, as he is so angered that he will do anything in his path to overtake the EG6 . Later on, when Shingo realises he cant win, he attempts to ram Takumi and result it in a double crash. Takumi dodges Shingo’s attack and Shingo crashes into the guardrail. In aftermath, Shingo almost becomes a better person.

1. Ryosuke Takahashi vs Kyoichi Sudo

The battle for redemption. One year after his loss to Ryosuke, Kyoichi Sudo has a rematch against him. Kyoichi is determined to prove that he wasnt the same person he was a year earlier. Kyoichi is determined to defeat Ryosuke. This battle is pretty fun to watch but it also tells something about Kyoichi; he still has weaknesses.
