Hey Guys, I need your help with the Ford RS200 !
I’ve been browsing some expensive Cars lately, and stumbled upon this RS 200 for sale (not the one in the pic). And I wondered what the red small Gear-knob (1st picture) is for? does anybody know what it’s actually for? I guess it’s for the control of the Differential, but I’m not sure. NEED HELP.

As far as I’m aware, it is for variable torque split. For example switch between 50:50 to 75:25 (I don’t have a clue what distributions they would actually use)
They have 50:50 34front:66rear and 100rear, just did some research my self. But funny how the made a second lever, just like in a off road vehicle when they need the extra, lower gears (sorry, don’t know the English word for Untersetzung in german)
Dont these engines have to be rebuilt really often?
I don’t know, what makes you think so? Okay, the car was rather rushed to production and therefore pretty flawed, but I guess the engine was spread in Ford shelf..
