Kanye West Has Just Bought Two Of These $1.2m Dartz Armoured SUVs

What do you buy the lady who has everything? If you're Kanye West, the answer would be to buy two of these gaudy-looking $1.2 million armoured SUVs. The hip-hop star has just purchased a pair of Dartz Prombron Iron Diamonds, which will ferry about his famous-for-no-apparent-reason partner Kim Kardashian, as well as their curiously-named daughter 'North'.

Latvian manufacturer Dartz is no stranger to the limelight, having stirred up controversy recently when it announced plans to offer a leather interior made from whale penises.

The Iron Diamond, which looks a bit like the bastard love child of a Lamborghini LM002 and a Cadillac Escalade, is powered by a General Motors Duramax 6.0-litre V8. The SUV is also said to be able to withstand attacks from rocket-propelled grenades and landmines. Better be safe than sorry in Los Angeles, right?

The Iron Diamond should be right up Kim's street, as it's said to be made 'for ladies by ladies.' According to the firm's sloppy press release, the Iron Diamond is (and I quote):

3-doors only - as mainly ladies drive in big SUV’s with their handbags - which some hijackers like to stole. It;s impossible with DARTZ - there are no left passenger door :-)
