Convert Toyota Corolla AE92 to RWD or not?
I’m still actually planning to buy this car. If only AE86’s aren’t very rare here, I wouldn’t be thinking about the drivetrain. So, I would like to ask.
Would it be worth it? (I’ve somehow considered already the struggles of it like buying a new gearbox, driveshaft, etc.)

Just buy a ke70 and put a 4age and t50 in it.
They are extremely similar and everything bolts straight up
Yep it looks awesome! I should know this beauty more
Well… Too bad. Still kinda hard to find earlier generations of corolla
do it it would be awesome
Get an 86. It’s gonna be easier, and still RWD
Like I said, 86s are very rare here. Can’t easily find one. If there is one, still not that lucky… We’re in an archipelago; transactions wouldn’t be that easy
I know… Being a car guy here is very hard 😭😭😭 I’m from Philippines btw. Hahaha
Hey mate. Im from the Philippines too haha. This would be interesting if you would continue this. Btw we also have a car like that.
Orayyyt! Kabayan! Hahaha actually pinaplano ko na to eh since a long time ago lol. Naghahanap nga ako ng mga talyer na cumuconvert sa rwd XD
Just buy a KE70
Been thinking bout that
it would be a very expensive project but DAMN would it be awsome.
I know right?! XD
Yes and turbo it
You read my mind XD
Are there any AE85s around? Or maybe a KE70, like Ben said?
Sadly, no. I cri 😭😭😭
why not convert it to twin turbo?
oh god
I actually want a AE92 and then put a 4age in it with a single turbo and convert it to rwd.
Hmmm. With that, i think rwd conversion should take place first since it needs dissasembly and reassembly and installment of necessary parts
