Any advice for doing the 75 swap? What do you suggest?

Excuse my ignorance … What is that ?
You exchange the 3.0l v6 from the 3g eclipse and put in the stronger 3.8l 6g75 v6 engine from the 4g eclipse. It is a famous swap and power boost for these cars. The v6 that the 3g eclipse has houses a hefty 210hp/205tq and the 6g75 has 263hp/260tq so it’s a huge bump, and better aftermarket
The weight is’nt all too much ? I mean the 3g is lighter i think than the 4g it would’nt be balanced i’d say… Even on the 4g it’s not that MUCH faster than the lighter and more balanced 4cylinder
True but the change not only does it increase hp, your power to weight changes, and you open your car to aftermarket parts and cheaper more modern parts, the 75 can also reach 300 hp N/A
Another reason: the 6g72 engine is Restricted in airflow, the manifold comes the engine in the mid to high rpms. The 74 and 75 which are identical engines have better manifolds (which are interchangeable with adjustments) and help the engine produce more power.
The thing about the 75 swap is the power gained, you would waste more money trying to get the same results from the 72 engine. And a turbo for these cars is allot of fabrication.
Well thats an interesting thing i’ll begin by a short ram or cold air intake and an exhaust for now XD dont have that kinda money … Im guessing its 5k min ?…
Actually your lucky, you basically have a stroked 4g63 engine in the gs. You can swap the heads to DOHC and put a turbo with less fabrication. Or go evo swap with the awd swap. For the v6 we have 75 or the 74 swap. You can’t out a v6 in the for cylinder without it costing religiously amounts of money.
The evo swap would be sick but idk that much mechanic …
Same here, a good swap for you just to make like easier would be the red drums to rest disk brakes. There’s a how to on the website
That depends on how much you like your car, some things aren’t worth it cause it’s too much money. You should get your car tuned, you get another 10 to 15 hp
