A Tractor-Driving Dog Just Caused Chaos On A UK Motorway

In one of those instances that sees you glancing at the calendar to check it’s not 1st April, Traffic Scotland this morning reported that the M74 motorway in South Lanarkshire was suffering delays due to a dog. Driving a tractor. It’s thought the pooch lent on the controls of a tractor - which was in a nearby field - sending it in the direction of the motorway.

The tractor hit the central reservation, but fortunately, no one (dog included) is known to have been hurt in the bizarre incident. The scene was cleared shortly after, when police and the farmer turned up to retrieve the stricken tractor. Traffic Scotland dubbed it the “weirdest thing we’ve ever reported.”
