This NFL Player Demonstrates Why Leaving Your Dog In A Hot Car Is An Awful Idea
To illustrate just how dangerous it is to leave a dog in a hot car, animal rights organisation Peta decided to see how long Arizona Cardinals player Tyrann Mathieu could last in temperatures approaching 50 degrees celsius
At this time of year, it’s all too common to hear stories of pets being left at the mercy of searing heat when left locked in cars on hot days. Only a few weeks ago we heard the sad case of a dog in Spain, which passed away after being left in an Audi A4 parked up at Ikea, despite the best efforts of a passer by who smashed the car’s window in an attempt to rescue the poor animal. And only a few days ago, we saw a car interior pulled apart by a desperate pooch trying to escape the heat.
So, we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: for the love of God, please don’t leave your pets inside the car at this time of year!
