The Hyundai Elantra Is What Chalk Paint Was Invented For
The first Hyundai Elantra in history to turn heads, this chalkboard on wheels encourages a little creativity
The Hyundai Elantra is not a particularly interesting car, but it makes the perfect first ride for a young driver. Philip Romano agreed, but wanted his first whip to be something a bit special; that's why he slapped chalk paint all over the Elantra and parked up on the streets on New York City.
Placing a few large chalks on the bonnet, New Yorkers were suitably curious and began doodling all over the car. It wasn't long before young and old had swarmed the Hyundai, keen to add their scribble to the growing number of doodles adorning the bodywork.
In case it wasn't obvious, the car sports the number plate 'DRAWONME' - NYC's citizens didn't need to be told twice.
