The seatbelt idea is actually awesome. In case of a crash, emergency personnel don’t have to lean into the cabin all the way to unbuckle it, it’s already there. All cars should have it that way!
But if your door gets smashed in it might be hard to unbuckle
im just still trying to get over the fact that an 8 liter V10 puts out 450hp, when i know of another american 6.2 liter that puts out 450-650. wtf dodge?
This engine was made for low end torque from a pick up truck. The Viper just happened because it can.
You do know that this model of the viper v10 is from the 90’s right? Chevy and Ford would not give you this amount of power till the early 2000’s and by that time Dodge gave you 500+ HP in the Vipers. Also that other american 6.2 liter needs a supercharger to reach these levels while the viper has run N/A since the first rolled of the assembly line 25 plus years ago. And even Dodge themselves say that they are not truly unlocking the full power out put of the v10 but with stricter laws forcing downsizing and forced induction, these guys still rolling with an 8.4l is pretty amazing.
this is a very old viper some where around a 96 model the current viper produces 650hp
