My Favourite Sounding 4 Cylinder Engines

EDIT: Had to change the title as it seemed to be causing some confusion with some people. Just to clarify I do not think these car are the greatest sounding 4 pots of all time…they are simply a list of my personal favourites that I like the sound of

I thought I’d put together a little list of the cars that (in my opinion) has the best sounding stock 4 cylinder engines. It’s a tough category as most are turbocharged which can muffle the pure noise but there’s some good ones out there. I’m going to try to stick to fairly recent cars as well. There’s a few of these lists out there so I’ve tried to throw in a few oddball choices.

I might even turn this into a weekly blog covering 5 cylinder next week, 6 the week after that etc until we get to the big 12 cylinder toys.

So, in no particular order.

Like I said I’ve thrown some unusual choices in there just so it’s not the same as everyone else’s list that’s full of Subaru Boxers and high revving Honda’s. Not hating on them at all, I do like the sounds of those cars also but just thought I’d try and think outside of the box for my list.
