Well, this picture was taken in June 2014 and it was my first lap ever on the Nürburgring Nordschleife and especially in the wet, I had to concentrate on the track and not to crash. (a friend crashed that day with his VW Golf 2 in the section “Kallenhard”)
We actually had a lot of fun, but the car isn’t made for a race track with a V6 Diesel, FWD, AT and almost 1900 kg. I had massive understeering in two corners and it just didn’t feel right to drive this car at the track. But on the german Autobahn, it was almost the perfect car. Very quiet, enough power for 240 km/h and a good handling. The problem about it were the technical issues. I had it only 3 months, but it was 5 weeks at the garage for repairs. But the 407 Coupe is so great, that I will again buy one in a few years, even though they all have that sort of problems.
