Powerplant: Model V-55 water-cooled V-12 engine producing 995hp
Chassis: Taken from a T-54/T-55 MBT
Manufacturer: Malyshev Factory
Top Speed: 30 km/h (18.6 mph)
History:
First produced in 1958 by the Soviet Union, it was delivered to the South Pole in 1959. A second generation was made in 1969. The second generation was delivered to Antarctica in 1975. It featured 8 beds, a small kitchen, a toliet, and an oven.
So, why did I pick this monster? Well two things: It’s reliable, and it’s very roomy: Things that you would need for a polar expedition.

I like what you were going for there, but I think it would be too heavy and it would fall through the ice.
With the way the tracks are set up, the weight is evenly balance. A T-54/55 usually weighs around 40 tons; add another 5 due to the extra stuff, and you get a vehicle that can traverse the ice (because it actually did) that also happens to be 12 tons lighter than my previous idea.
What’s the displacement of the engine? I imagine something massive
I’d say around 12 liters maybe
What the fuc🇰 is that thing? I want one.
Water cooled engine in the arctic?
Well you thought this through XD
Holy balls, that’s amazing.
But of course, it is from the Soviet Union. Better than any Western Kapitalist machine.
