My reaction when Marty & Moog pulled the custom supercharged Mini engine from the JDM Mini and swapped in the VTEC engine. What was your opinion?

Not gonna lie, it was neat and impressive from an engineering standpoint, but it just felt…wrong. Even if the car is, objectively, “better” now.

I would have felt better about it if the Mini had been a little rough and they fixed it up with their own unique touch, but that thing was pretty close to mint.

Of course, I respect anyone’s right to do whatever they want to their own car, but it just definitely wasn’t my thing -.-
