A Royal Enfield Bullet with a BBQ SideCar!
The BBQ Bullet is a neat contraption and the sidecar is really where the story lies. Fabricated at his uncle’s workshop in Bangalore, Arun and his brother Krishna designed and developed the BBQ sidecar from scratch. The job has been neatly executed and it houses the main BBQ pit, an additional gas stove powered by a 5 kg cylinder, two boxes for the chef’s tools and three food grade storage boxes to carry around enough meat in order to cater to an evening’s worth of business. Arun also uses dry ice to keep the meat fresh while commuting and if need be, there is the option of attaching a garden umbrella once the bike is parked and set up for business. The workmanship is quite good and they have taken the pains to ensure that the structure and frame of the sidecar is rock solid. Even the two mounts that attach it to the Bullet have been fabricated using a nice thick slap of sheet metal and there are four strong bolts holding each mount in place. The attention to detail and the overall fit and finish of the barbecue has been done in a very professional manner and you can see that this isn’t just some college project, but the idea of a business owner who wishes to take these contraptions far and wide.
The ultimate bike modification for a foodie!
