So in English we have to do a research paper on any topic of our choice. I chose rally racing. Could this wonderful community help brainstorm specific topics I could write about?

I had to do something similar, but i chose jdm car culture.

In the ending of your paper, you could link a website
Hows the paper coming along?
You could do it over the origins and later on get into Group B and the cars, along with the rules, any controversy, and how it came to a end. Then rap it up with what it is today.
I did a similar thing with drifting, maybe you can explain why rallying is so different from other motorsports. Maybe Cars (What modifications the cars have), Specific Rules (Like Co-Drivers and stuff idk) and maybe give examples on some rally events
I did a whole hour speech at school about rallying, explaining what rallying is and what you need and how pacenotes work with a couple videos of some onboards and closing it off showing how hard the sport is with a crash video from the WRC.
Do it on rallying on what it is, or how rallying started compared to today, or even do it on a famous rally driver eg: Colin McRae or Kris Meeke or Tommi Makien.
