A GTA V Car For Enthusiasts - The Zirconium Stratum...

I’ve owned a Zirconium Stratum on GTA V for a while now, because it was actually my first car on the game.

The Stratum is a brilliant underrated car with:

.AWD

.Fun handling

.Good acceleration

.A familiar appearance

.Fun to drive overall

I wasn’t expecting much from this car after driving it in GTA IV, where it was slow and boring. At first it seemed to be the same in GTA V where the car felt underwhelming. As I normally do on the single player mode, I took it to LS Customs and fully tuned it just to see what it was like to drive, and although there’s lack of customization, after tuning it, my opinion of this car completely changed…

It felt reasonably quick and I soon realized the cars’ grippy AWD system and brilliant handling. It transformed into a proper drivers car. I liked it so much I found one online and fully tuned it.

Between the stage of test driving it after tuning it, and wondering whether I like it or not, I wondered about it’s rather familiar appearance - until I did some research…

The Zirconium Stratum takes its primary inspiration from the 1998-2001 Citroën Xantia estate and the fifth generation Honda Accord station wagon, albeit with a front end derived from the R32 Nissan Skyline. The rear end greatly resembles the first generation Subaru Impreza station wagon, although much longer, and C-pillars which could possibly be derived from the 1996-2001 Toyota Camry wagon. The bodywork also has a very large resemblance to the Ford EF Falcon Wagons or the Mk III Ford Sierra wagons.

With all the facts aside, let’s just look at the appearance itself!

Hopefully, I have made you want to buy one now…

I had one on GTA Online but sold it due to lack of tuning options. All I wanted is for it to be bright pink with yellow wheels.

That’s exactly why I used to have one, I wanted supergramps, but then I sold it because I needed room. For some reason friends made fun of me for liking that one, clearly not MCM fans…

Now I wish there was a place to see articles like this for all GTA V cars. Like a fictional car review site or something.

There is. Type into Google the the full name of a GTA V car like Karin Sultan or anything, and the first result. It shows you engine size and top speed and 0-60 and stuff it’s cool ;)
