This Bentley Continental GT Is Apparently Worth Only $4000
YouTuber and courageous used car buyer Tyler Hoover may be mad enough to trade a very tidy Acura NSX (plus $10,000) for a broken Ferrari F355, but even he has been able to admit his Bentley Continental GT - bought for $27,700 - is a lost cause. It spent much of its life in Russia - during which time it had its mileage clocked twice and was seized multiple times by the government - and has a general aversion to working properly.
So, it has to go. And since finding someone mad enough to take on such a project is going to be hard, why not go for the Doug DeMuro-favoured Car Max appraisal? That’s exactly what the man did. Well, after the decrepit Conti finally started…
Might Car Max offer $15,000? Or even $10,000? Nope: just $4000. Which, of course, you’d have to be mad to accept - as many have pointed out in the YouTube comments for the video, you’d only have to sell a handful of parts to get back more than the used car retailer’s daft valuation.
If you’d been mad enough to buy this basket case Bentley, what would you do with it? Comment below with your suggestions!

Honestly, I’d part it out 😂, pretty sure I could make a profit lmao
Not surprised. Depreciation hits luxury cars like anything. Good news for buyers, bad news for sellers.
How about a “Project Mud-Conti”? Oh hang on, that already exists apparently…
in Russia, You not break car
Car break you….
Tyler Hoover’s car lost value faster than Herbert Hoover’s economy!
I’d keep it and drive it everyday - it’s a bargain of a car!
At least his Prius is still working
Acura NXS?
… at least double your investment in parts (although minus labor).
… everyone knows the NSX was a much better car than the NXS!
4000? Did he go to GameStop or something??
