Depends on the type of car for me. 1500 lb and 150hp would be like a Lotus Elise or old school Civic, and 5000 lb and 500hp would be like a Bentley Continental GT or Audi RS5, for examples of cars that I like.
1500 and 150hp because you get good acceleration and fantastic cornering. 5000 will probably have higher top speed but terrible corner speed. Honestly you corner hard more often that you reach 170mph.
I usually like boats, but 500hp is pretty weak for 5000lbs considering the thing can barely turn. 1500 (Chiron anyone?) for 5000lbs sounds good to me.
