Yes, TVR really wouldn’t deserve that… They’ve created an awesome car, but if Toyota drags them to court, the company will disappear as quickly as they got rescued…

Perhaps the aero work best in that design, it just so happens that Toyota found a similar aero set up, it’s not like one of the Chinese copy cars, it’s nowhere near as close. Also the styling could be attributed to paying homage to cars like the sagaris etc.
Secondly, that Toyota is a concept not a commercial product, so it’s not like tvr are taking money from Toyota
