5 Asian car companies to watch out for #blogpost

In recent years, some car companies have drastically changed a lot. Not too long ago, Korean car companies were making cheap, poorly built economy cars. Don’t even get me started on Chinese cars..

Ehm, no thanks. I don't want a Korean aztek.

These days, they truly make Toyota, Mazda, and even BMW somewhat scared of what they can do. The new Genesis brand from Hyundai looks to be an almost valid competitor to the Mercedes-Benz. Even Chinese car companies like Geely and Byd are making a splash in the car market!

Now enough about the cars. Here are the companies!

1. SsangYong

Back then, they made incredibly ugly cars. Now, with the Tivoil, it looks so much better. This SUV is pretty good for what you’re getting. Who knows what they could be doing in the future!

2. Geely

Geely is mostly known for requiring Volvo off Ford. What most people don’t know is that this car company is making cars that can either be a mid-sized luxury or a sporty subcompact. Their future plan is to bring their cars to Europe.

3. Hyundai/Genesis

Ah Hyundai, you’ve truly impressed me with your efforts on the new Hyundai Genesis. Now that you want to make an S Class competitor, I’ll support you all the way until the end. The future of Hyundai and Genesis will be bright.

4. Faraday Future

You shocked the whole world at CES, now, make that platform and the car you promised. If this all works out, then Tesla will be screwed!

5. BYD

BYD is relatively new in the car game, yet some of its cars truly are amazing. Their hybrid model plan plans to have a sedan, two SUVs, and a sports car. Right now, the sedan is out and selling. In fact, the sedan (which is called the Qin) is the 5th most sold plug-in hybrid in 2015. That’s quite impressive since it’s only sold in China and some Latin America countries.
