The Mrs's Polo (9n) is making horrendous squeaking sounds whenever it goes over speedbumps. Handling is fine but the noise is getting worse and worse. Anyone had this on theirs?

I’m not positive about newer VWs, but I have an older rabbit that needed shocks replaced due to the problem which is fairly common for them. If the suspension is all original, could be time for new shocks (or coils, if she’s into that :D)

Yes sounds familiar, having the same problem but the handling of the doesn’t get worse. No idea what it is.

You should check your silent blocks. They were squeaking on my 9n3 few years ago and I started to hearing them again in cold mornings. It is common problem on Polo/Ibiza/Fabia.
Silent blocks are cheap, but mechanics could charge you fair amount of money for replacing them.

I have a weird rattle in my right shoulder like a tapping when going over speed bumps?

My ‘05 9n had that too. The suspension arm was broken should be an easy fix.
