#FunFact - the 1971 Italian Grand Prix saw the smallest winning margin in F1 history.

Peter Gethin won the 1971 Italian Grand Prix with a margin of just 0,01 over Ronnie Peterson in second. François Cevert finished 3rd, just 0.09 seconds behind Gethin with Mike Hailwood just 0.09 seconds behind Cevert and Howden Ganley 0.43 seconds behind Hailwood. This meant the entire top 5 finished within just over 0.5 seconds behind the winner.
This was the first and last time Gethin ever stood on the podium in an F1 race.

That’s all for now, have a nice day :)
