I Drove A Lamborghini And A Trophy Truck In Las Vegas!
Ever since I played Need For Speed in the early 2000’s, I’ve been very interested in Lamborghinis. So, when I found out that you didn’t have to be 25 to drive supercars in Las Vegas, I was pumped. Thanks to a lot of puzzle pieces falling into place, I was able to go to SpeedVegas. I am just over 6 feet tall and getting in and out of the supercars at SpeedVegas can be a bit of a chore. Thanks to the instructor I had with me, I was able to come close to driving the Huracan as fast as it could go. I could have chosen to go with multiple cars with less laps but I am glad I went with more laps with one car. By doing that, I was able to work my way up to go faster and faster. Rapid shifting, all controls are hairline trigger. If you have thought about driving supercars even for 10 minutes, I would say it is worth every penny.
The Lamborghini Huracan drives like a dream but you have to have some serious skills in order to to extract it's full potential.
The trophy truck experience was quite different for me. It was more nuanced and difficult to drive, I even spun out once. Driving the Lamborghini is like riding a bicycle while driving the trophy truck is like riding an elephant and shouting for it to go this way and that. The trophy truck made me barf, unlike the Huracan which I handled just fine. It was probably due to the jumps and how disconnected driving it felt.
