BMW E46 320i Drifting?
Hi, is the BMW E46 320I 6 Cylinder any good for weekend drifting and daily driving? Asking as it is the only decent petrol model that I can find in my country. Other than that 320d’s wherever you look.

Drifting a 320i is possible, but most likely hard with the weight, power, and diff
If it was gutted it would probably be better
The E46 is rather heavy, with all kinds of comfort-spec.
Sure you can make the rear try to overtake you, but it’s not going to be all that easy.
Try a 330i and throw away half of the interior. Get a good differential, front and rear stabilizer and some other stuff like that. A stiff suspension as garnish. Enjoy with racing fuel.
