Teammate Battle Predictions

This will be who I think will be the teammate which outscores the other, i’m not counting qualifying. Only points.

Mercedes AMG Petronas:
Drivers: Lewis Hamilton (44) and Valtteri Bottas (77)
Winner: Lewis Hamilton. I predict Bottas will have a better 2019 than his 2018, but nowhere near the points of Hamilton.

Scuderia Ferrari:
Drivers: Sebastian Vettel (5) and Charles Leclerc (16)
Winner: Sebastian Vettel. I want LeClerc to do well, but Vettel has much more experience in a F1 car and in Ferrari.

Red Bull Racing:
Drivers: Max Verstappen (33) and Pierre Gasly (10)
Winner: Max Verstappen. I think that the team will favour Max, as well as him being more comfortable behind the wheel of a RBR car.

Renault Sport:
Drivers: Nico Hulkenberg (27) and Daniel Ricciardo (3)
Winner: Daniel Ricciardo. While this pairing will be quite close I think that Ricciardo will be slightly more consistent in his point delivery.

Rich Energy HAAS
Drivers: Kevin Magnussen (20) and Romain Grosjean (8)
Winner: Kevin Magnussen. More aggressive than Romain, that’s about it really.

McLaren:
Drivers: Carlos Sainz Jr. (55) and Lando Norris (4)
Winner: Carlos Sainz Jr. While Norris may bring some speed, Sainz brings experience

Sport Pesa Racing Point:
Drivers: Sergio Perez (11) and Lance Stroll (18)
Winner: Sergio Perez. While Sergio said he was surprised by Stroll’s speed I still believe Perez to be a much much better driver.

Alfa Romeo:
Drivers: Kimi Raikkonen (7) and Antonio Giovinazzi (99)
Winner: Kimi Raikkonen. While both drivers have names that are impossible to spell, I think that Kimi’s pure experience will net him more points.

Scuderia Toro Rosso
Drivers: Daniil Kvyat (26) and Alexander Albon (23)
Winner: Daniil Kvyat. A more expierenced driver, and apparently he has his speed back. Let’s hope so.

Rokit Williams Racing
Drivers: Robert Kubica (88) and George Russell (63)
Winner: Robert Kubica. While I think Russell should be fairly promising and hopefully fun to watch, I just think Kubica, who has prior experience, has more of a drive to impress.
