DAF 66 1300 Marathon Coupé
Back in the sixties and early seventies, DAF wasn’t just making trucks - it had an automobile division. When Volvo took the company over in the mid-seventies, existing DAF models became Volvos. The DAF 66, later known as the Volvo 66, is notable not only for its variomatic transmission, but also because there was a sport version. The 1300 Marathon got a whopping 57bhp, but it was light, and quite good looking, and weird.
