This is the Sponsorless Preseason Reveal livery. Once added they will be on the front wing, engine cover, and rear wing. The car takes inspiration from the country which my family is from. Sweden.
Logo- The logo is simply three letters. Stylized with a line in the pit lane. DRT is taken from my last name Dawson, and Racing Team. Makes sense, Right?
This car has a Mercedes power unit and fair aerodynamics. Unfortunately the car is consistently the heaviest on the grid with poor weight distribution. This makes it tricky to handle under high load situations on the rear tires.
DRIVERS
Stoffel Vandoorne #2
Vandoorne is an obvious choice for me. Wrestling the McLaren car to points in the 2017 season, as well as it being his debut season. I believe in the right car Vandoorne could be a world champion, and DRT plans on putting him there.
Esteban Ocon #31
Another obvious choice. Ocon has shown himself to be an incredible driver, thrashing his more senior team-mate constantly. More future world champion material. As well as being in Mercedes’s pockets already, driving a Mercedes powered car will be a breeze.
Overall the Driver’s title isn’t expected in the first season. But with the Mercedes PU and money obtained from sponsors the Constructors title is obtainable. Both drivers are consistent, fast, cooperative, and talented.
