Boston Cars and Coffee Season Finale at The Larz Anderson Auto Museum
The first Boston Cars and Coffee Event at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum was an eyeopening experience for me. I had always seen the car scenes of other regions such as in London, South Florida, and Southern California, but I had never experienced the variety and degree of how good our car scene truly is. I remember seeing Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Mclarens (oh my!) in every direction along with a variety of Porsches, new and old, as well as famous and rare JDM examples.
This year’s season finale brought along a large herd of supercars, classics, and Autobahn speeders alike. I showed up a half an hour early along with the early arrivers including a Guards Red 997.1 911 GT3, a Blu Caelum Huracan LP 610, and a modified Volkswagen CC. The cars started trickling in one by one until eventually there was a line of cars as far as the eye could see out of the entrance to the park.
Good times were had by everyone in attendance. One of my favorite cars at the show was a vintage Alfa Romeo GTA. These Italian classics are elegant in design and recognizable in sound. This one is owned by a local collector that was very kind and set up the car for a mini photoshoot for Thomas Lavin(@tjl_petrol), a local photographer for Petrolicious. I joined in and grabbed a couple snaps.
As the show came to a close, I moved to the exit to capture some of the cars leaving. The show was amazing in terms of the variety and quality of the cars as well as the people. I had some good conversations and met a great bunch of people. Also, below are some of my favorite shots from the whole show. As always, these photos and ones just like these daily on my Instagram @carphotos508, so go check it out!
Until next year Boston…

I love going to lars anderson!
Its always a good time
I’ve lived around Boston my whole life, and I’ve never been there. I definitely have to go some time.
Its a great place for shows. Any of their lawn events and Cars and Coffee’s are worth at least an hour trip.
