For us, it was obviously a pretty memorable moment when the CT-sponsored BTCC car driven by Kieran Gallagher debuted at the series’ Donington Park media day.

Kieran’s off to a decent start in his first full season in BTCC, currently sitting second in the Jack Sears Trophy for rookie drivers. Make sure you like his Facebook page to keep up with the latest news.

2. Vettel victorious

A first race win for Ferrari is always special, but when it is in only your second race for the iconic F1 team, it’s all the more impressive. It’s no surprise that the 2015 Malaysian Grand Prix podium was an emotional one for Sebastian Vettel.

The race was undoubtedly the best of the Formula 1 season so far, with battles up and down the field. Also, it is always nice to see a non-Mercedes car finish first, isn’t it?

3. Brilliant battle

The 2015 MotoGP season got off to a thrilling start in Qatar, with Valentino Rossi taking victory by just two tenths of a second after a fantastic fight with Andrea Dovizioso, claiming it was his “best battle ever”.

The Moto3 race in Qatar also concluded in dramatic style, with Alexis Masbou winning from Enea Bastianini by just 0.027 seconds after a sprint to the finish line.

The second British Touring Car Championship race at Brands Hatch ended in style. Jason Plato went off with a puncture with a few laps remaining, with Gordon Shedden and Andy Priaulx taking over the fight for first place. It proved to be a drag race to the chequered flag, with Shedden winning by 0.040 seconds.

The opening round of the FIA World Endurance Championship saw the No.7 Audi and No.18 Porsche go head to head for the race lead with just under one hour of the race remaining.

The Audi was quicker in the corners, but the Porsche’s pace in a straight line was incredible. Fascinating battle.

When there is three minutes of qualifying to go and a bike breaks, most MotoGP riders would simply give up. However, Marc Marquez isn’t most riders, and ran to his back-up bike to take a stunning pole position at the Circuit of the Americas.

8. Sparks fly

One of the best spectacles from the 2015 F1 season so far has been the stunning sparks in Bahrain, helped by the race taking place at night.

It doesn’t get much more dramatic than a last lap accident, which is what happened when Rossi and Marquez got a bit too close whilst battling for the lead of the MotoGP Argentina race.

One of the scariest moments of the motorsport season so far was when a spark started a huge fire during Brendan Gaughan’s pit stop during the Nascar Sprint Cup race at the Richmond International Raceway. Three people were taken to hospital but fortunately escaped serious injuries.

One of IndyCar’s best races in quite some time took place earlier this year at the Barber Motorsports Park, with Josef Newgarden storming to a faultless first victory in the series. There were plenty of battles, lots of drama and a few crashes too.

Undoubtedly the most memorable WRC moment so far was when Ott Tänak’s car plunged off road and into a lake. Fortunately both the driver and co-driver were able to escape to safety as the car sank.

Monaco and Formula E was always going to be interesting, with a new and shorter track layout – probably to try and limit the comparisons to F1. The first corner was chaotic, with a huge pile-up triggered by Daniel Abt being pushed into the wall.

Finally, the most recent moment is from this month’s Indy 500 practice, after a scary airborne accident for Helio Castroneves that he fortunately walked away from unscathed.
