Saab Cuts 9-3 Prices for 2010
"Saab Cuts 9-3 Prices for 2010" - it is good to see that headline, huh? For a few different reasons. First of all being the fact that the brand has been on the brink of disappearing for months now.

It is nice to have the focus be on product for a change. Secondly, because we love Saab product and price cuts are always good!
The 2010 lineup has reduced pricing by as much as 4 to 12 percent. One of the additions to the lineup is the range-topping 9-3X, an all-wheel drive Subaru Outback/Audi Avant-style vehicle that starts at $37,800, including destination and shipping charges.
The standard 9-3 sedan is available in two trim levels, 2.0T and Aero, and both can be ordered with either front wheel drive or Saab's Cross-Wheel Drive (XWD) system. At the base end the price cuts take the 9-3 sedan below the $30,000 hurdle, to a $29,725 MSRP for the 2.0T and a $38,940 MSRP for the Aero model.
As to be expected, the SportCombi and Convertible models start off higher than the sedan, with a $31,155 MSRP for the 2.0T SportCombi and a $37,845 MSRP for the Aero model. The 9-3 Convertible model starts at $40,815 for the 2.0T and $46,730 for the Aero.
This is good news - it shows the new company is serious in its efforts to go after new customers. Hopefully, this will help them in their goals for higher sales in the United States. We thinks it will - who knows, all the publicity they have gotten could work to their benefit.
