Race Truck Gymkhana Is Like Normal Gymkhana Except Way More Manly
Race trucks are awesome. Dutch driving display team Becx-TDS Racing knows this, so they have one in their show. It's quite a machine. At one point their truck was a perfectly normal MAN TGS, but now it's a 1100hp, 3600lb/ft six-tonne monster, that pummels the 0-62mph sprint in under five seconds, and runs up to a scarcely believable 130mph.
With all that power and torque, it's almost impossible to keep it pointing in a straight line, but that doesn't really matter, as driver Michiel Becx is practically a virtuoso drifter. Add a ludicrous vehicle to a crazy wheelman and you've got the recipe for a Gymkhana video. And would you believe it, that's what Becx-TDS have made.
Filmed at Fursten Forest in Germany, Michiel pulls out all the stops, doing what must be every trick in his repertoire. He drifts and donuts his way through the course and smashes through massive glass blocks for lols. At one point he even dismounts and leaves the mighty MAN spinning in circles on its own. And like a true Hoonigan, he keeps going even after the tyres blow.
