Official Images of the Chevrolet Camaro Convertible Appear on Facebook

Social media - Twitter (follow @CarThrottle), Facebook (become a fan) is the future and the automakers have recognized it. Perhaps one of the companies that has embraced it the most is the New General Motors.

They have demonstrated a lot of changes going on at the company by opening up to the public on Facebook and Twitter and by reaching out to blogs.

Perhaps best demonstrating that, official pictures of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible have popped up on Chevrolet's official Facebook page.

This is the first production images of the convertible we have seen. It is slated to go on sale exactly one yea from now, in April 2011, with production beginning at GM's plant in Oshawa, Canada starting at the beginning of the year. Naturally, it looks like everyone expected - a Camaro without a top. But, thats besides the point - one is coming. And the crowd goes wild.....
