Absolutely amazing! No that is not a computer generated image; it's completely real. It's "invisibility" is an optical illusion, created by (apparently spray) painting the vehicle to match it's surroundings. The "invisible" Skodia Fabia was created by 22 year old British student Sara Watson, who is attending college at the University of Central Lancashire. The Fabia is located at the entrance of her art studio outside and the goal is for you to not see the vehicle as you come in!

She says that it's achieving that goal, with people nearly bumping into it, stopping to check twice. It's fitting that the car being used is an run-of-the-mill economy car, an invisible vehicle already.

Her work on the car was created as part of her drawing and imaging making course at the university. The effort took three weeks to complete, in order to make sure the car blended in.

You might be wondering about the car used to create this; It was donated by local junk yard Recycling Lives, hence the company graphic on the vehicle. A nice act probably has turned into a lot of good publicity for the company! I love seeing things like this. Recycling at it's best?
