Would installing a rear wing and front splitter be rice if there are no performance modifications?

Well because it’s race inspired cosmetic enhancements and the more I think about it, nearly everything is rice if not used on a track

It would be a Racing Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement.
Unless it was on a factory “performance car” like the STi or other cars in that category

If someone puts a bodykit/splitter or a big spoiler onto a car that is mainly stock, then I consider it as rice

Well if the wing and splitter are functional, as in the actually provide usable downforce, then i wouldn’t consider it rice

They don’t really do anything, so in my books it’s a yes for rice. A standard STI will only improve grip in corners by 0.01 Gs, aero only affects really light cars. If you want more explanation, I can post a video.

Honestly, for a WRX/STi, you be better off taking the money you would spend on the splitter and spoiler and either getting some good rubber or honing the handling with a strut tower bar if it doesn’t have it or sway bars or something of the like.
Don’t forget that especially for a wing, you’d more than likely have to spend a bunch more to get it painted!
