Differences between real life Drift and Assetto Corsa drift.

I have this doubt. I usually drift in Assetto Corsa, which is a very well made simulator, but I never drift in real life, because I don’t have a RWD car yet

I would like an honest response from people who tried both experience, because I used to listen that Assetto Corsa is even harder to drift than real life, but I don’t really know, because for me AC seems so easy (without helps except ABS and 50% ESC)

Didnt play AC. But dome other racing games for a small amount of hours.
Real drifting in wet or icy ground is pretty easy and safe. But real high speed drifting which you can do at the simulator need more practice time.

50% ESC (Electronic Stability Control)? What is that?

Yes, drifting in AC is harder to learn than in real life because you don’t have as much sensory input, but by getting more seat time in a simulator, you can progress much faster and try techniques you probably wouldn’t dare in real life.
If you are used to drift car mods or the Kunos “drift-spec” cars, don’t try to drift a stock car in real life the same way.
