Is it worth it to fix my MX-5 Miata?

Hey CT! I have a 91 Miata that I bought a few months ago. I absolutley love the car and it’s so much fun to drive. My intention was to do some work to it (just bolt ons like wheels, suspension, exhaust etc..) but the car has rust. It is rusted between the wheel well and the door (in the common miata rust spot) but it’s pretty bad. I don’t know how much worse it is anywhere else. Now do I attempt to fix it myself, bring it to a shop, or let it go ? Does anyone here have experience with the same situation? thanks guys!
