1. Aero spoiler

To give the hatchback shape a bit of a sportier look, a subtle rear spoiler can make all the difference. They cost around £70 / $100 and it’s the best bang for buck visual mod.

2. Remap

For 118d and 120d models you can gain 30-40 bhp and a lot of torque from a good map.

3. Black grills

Works best with black cars and doesn’t cost more than £30 / $40.

4. Steering wheel re-trim

This will transform the look and feel of the car. Costs around £120 (dependent on supplier) but it’s a great investment as the car will be easier to shift when it comes to selling (buyers love it!). Most craftmen have options for stitching colours, leather type etc.
