Coolant/water inlet pipe leak mk2 mx5
Any give me any help on how to fix this?
Coolant began to leak from bottom of my car today after a quick hoon.
I got it up on axle stands, removed the sump protector and had a look underneath.
Turned it on and coolant began spraying out of the metal pipe that the hose connects to. It clearly has a hole/split.
I think it is connected to the waterpump inlet pipe thingy. Question is, how do I fix it?, do I have to replace the entire part or can just replace the metal pipe?
Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Tightly applied electric tape could do the trick. But must be very dry and clean when applied if you want it to last for some time. At least could save you short term until you have a more permanent solution
I’ve ordered some epoxy putty. Gonna give it a try. There’s quite a bit of pressure so I think tape wouldn’t cut it. Thanks for the feedback though. Appreciated 👍
