Owls Head Transportation Museum

1930 Bentley Speed Six - Won 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1929 and 1930

The Owls Head Transportation Museum is personally the best automotive and aeronautical collections I’ve seen in person. The collection of automobiles vary from a Le Mans winner to some cars I can’t even pronounce such as the 1905 Panhard et Levassor.

The museum has so many cool cars to offer that one post can’t sufficiently cover all of them and their details. Also it would be hard not to mention the plane collection since the museum is inside an airplane hangar. So if you are visiting Maine or planning to I would add this to the list of must see’s and the coastline dive up to Owls Head is beautiful.
